All About Teen Camp
What To Expect
Teen Camp at Hiawatha Youth Camp is designed to be an unforgettable week filled with fun, friendship, and spiritual growth. Our staff are present and engaged throughout the week, creating a safe and encouraging environment where teens can thrive.
Here are a few things you can expect during Teen Camp:
Fun games and activities in our week-long competition between two teams
Morning and evening services with worship and Bible-based teaching
Beach time including swimming, canoes, paddle boards, and other waterfront activities
Nightly cabin devotions to process the messages, ask real questions, and grow deeper in faith
Plenty of free time to hang out, make new friends, and create lasting memories
Teen Week Services
Teen Week services are intentionally designed for middle and high school students, creating space for deeper conversations and growth.
Each service includes worship and clear, Bible-based teaching that speaks directly to the challenges teens face today. Messages are rooted in Scripture, helping students understand not just what the Bible says, but how it applies to their daily lives.
Throughout the week, campers are encouraged to reflect, ask honest questions, and respond personally to God’s Word in a Christ-centered environment that equips them to live out their faith beyond camp.
Teen Week Speakers
Our Teen Week speakers are passionate leaders with strong backgrounds in Christian ministry and a heart for students. Each speaker brings real-life experience from pastoral work, youth ministry, missions, and church leadership, sharing messages that are both relatable and rooted firmly in God’s Word.
Our Staff
Each year, Hiawatha Youth Camp hires some of the most passionate, energetic, and talented young men and women on the planet to help inspire, teach, lead, nurture, and grow our campers.
We employ staff members who are gifted in specific areas of HYC’s program, including counselors, worship leaders, kitchen staff, and varied other capacities. Our staff are assessed during our application process to ensure they are spiritually grounded in their faith as they step into this role of ministry and leadership.
